Man’s decomposing body found in Kelso
The unknown man is believed to have been staying in the bushes, where he was found.
The body of an unknown man was discovered in the bushes near the Umzimayi River bridge in Kelso on Sunday.
According to police, workers were cutting the verges when they came across the deceased.
Scottburgh Saps members responded to the scene and discovered that the body was already decomposing. Preliminary investigations indicated that he was living in the bushes.
Members of the public who may have known the deceased is requested to contact Scottburgh Detective Service on 039 9789908.
The body was removed to the Park Rynie State Mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
