Port Shepstone temple hosts bhajan beats – east/west fusion of devotional songs
It will take place this Friday, January 30.
The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Mandir in Port Shepstone invites the community to a once-a-month ‘bhajan beats’ with DJ Reevz and Paul Kalicharan.
The first event will be held at the mandir this Friday (30th), from 18:00 to 21:00.
Chairperson Veena Lakhan said bhajan beats is an east/west fusion of Indian devotional bhajans/songs. She calls on the community to attend to find out more about it.
“It’s the first for the South Coast and I’m sure the community will love it.”

* The mandir will observe Maha Shivarathri on February 15, from 18:00 until 06:00 the next day. The programme includes invocation prayer, recitals, discourses, hawan and bhajans. All are welcome.
* Holika Dahan, the festival of colours, will be observed on March 7, from 18:00. Entry is free and DJ Reevz will provide music. Free coloured powder will be provided. All are welcome.
