New start point for Local Loop in Umtentweni

Whether you’re there to walk, chat, exercise or simply enjoy being outdoors, everyone is welcome.

The popular Local Loop is back on the South Coast, with an exciting new start point at the Tweni Centre in Umtentweni.

Founded by Hayley Anderson, The Local Loop, the weekly community walk will kick off from its new base this Saturday (31st), starting at 08:00. The approved start point is the grass area at the Tweni Centre, located at 2 Commercial Road, Umtentweni.

Known for its relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, the Local Loop is an all-inclusive community event, inviting residents to bring along dogs, children, friends and family. Whether you’re there to walk, chat, exercise or simply enjoy being outdoors, everyone is welcome.

Organisers say the move brings fresh energy while keeping the familiar faces that have made the loop such a success.

Hayley said it offers the perfect way to start the weekend – outdoors, active and connected.

“With a new starting point and renewed excitement, locals are encouraged to lace up their walking shoes and join in.”
