New York spiritual guru’s visit uplifts devotees at Marburg temple
Dharmacharya Chunelall Narine placed emphasis on daily prayer, selfless sacrifice seva, peaceful co-existence, responsibility and respect for all of God's creation.
A vibrant atmosphere filled the Shree Raam Narayan Temple in Marburg last Saturday, as visiting spiritual guru Dharmacharya Chunelall Narine from New York shared timeless wisdom from Hindu scriptures on leading meaningful and purpose lives.
Locals were entertained by bhajans, and discourses added a special touch making the experience more uplifting. Narine broke down HINDU as H – history, I – identify, N – nationality, D – diversity U – unity, emphasising unity in diversity.

He also emphasised five guiding principles; daily prayer, selfless sacrifice seva, peaceful co-existence, responsibility and respect for all of God’s creation.
“The event was inspiring and spiritually stimulating. Our heartfelt gratitude is extended to Dharmacharya Chunelal Narine and the team of devotees from Stanger for gracing us with their blessings,” said temple chairperson, Rocky Ramsingh.
* The temple will observe the festival of Maha Shivarathri on February 15, from 16:00 to 06:00 the next day. All are invited to attend. Supper and snacks will be served.
