The group of property and business owners are concerned about the rapid decline of the Port Shepstone CBD and deteriorating service delivery from Ray Nkonyeni Municipality.
They added that they would like to see an improvement in the infrastructure and appearance of the CBD to encourage more investment. They also agreed on building a sustainable partnership with the municipality to enhance service delivery and development.
Naidoo said the focus is on a collaborative approach to find sustainable solutions in partnership with relevant like-minded stakeholders.
He added a joint solution approach has been effective in addressing the short term issues among the membership, while allowing greater participation in the medium and longer term planning.
