Southbroom’s massive sinkhole swallows vehicle

A motorist drove into a massive sinkhole that has formed on Marine Drive (R620) near the Southbroom traffic lights last night (Wednesday).

No injuries were reported.

The sinkhole, which has caused extensive damage to the roadway, has developed on the busy stretch of road.
