Pumula residents take pride in suburb
The clean-up helped to improve visibility for motorists at the entrances.
Volunteers from the Pumula Residents’ and Ratepayers’ Association recently rolled up their sleeves to improve the appearance of their neighbourhood.
The group, made up of residents and association members, braved the heat and worked hard to make a visible difference in the suburb.
The energetic team cut back long grass and overgrown verges at both entrances to Pumula along the R102 and also gave the surfboard signboards a fresh lick of paint.

Former chairperson Peter Goetsch said the dedicated volunteers are determined to continue working together to keep Pumula neat and well cared for.
A special thanks also goes to resident Nellie Bernardo for keeping the team going with her delicious gourmet sandwiches.
