BRONWYN TANNER – Tuning In: Markets and more this April

Community news and events for Pennington and surrounding areas.

April Fool’s Day! How are you going to be surprised today? Years ago, the Mid South Coast Mail had a number of community members fooled. A nude beach in Scottburgh; the plans for a maximum security prison to be built in TC Robertson Nature Reserve. For the employees at the Mid South Coast Mail, it was so exciting and so much fun to put together with the intention of fooling the community. It worked! We received many enraged phone calls – especially regarding the nude beach where we had a naked man walking away from the camera trailing a towel next to him.

School holidays are until April 8. I’m sure everyone is grateful for the well deserved break.

Welcome to the holidaymakers to our piece of paradise. Enjoy your stay and please leave it as you found it.
