Connect with nature at TC Robertson reserve in Scottburgh

A group of volunteers are clearing, restoring, protecting, and nurturing this natural haven.

Scottburgh’s TC Robertson Nature Reserve has been described as a magical place by many.

This magic and beauty lives in the shade of old trees, in the curve of a winding path, in the soft rustle of leaves when the wind passes through, and even in the birds that return each morning.

But this kind of beauty doesn’t take care of itself. That’s where the Friends of TC Robertson Nature Reserve come in.

One of the nature reserve's picturesque spots.

This is a group of people who believe this space matters. Not just for today, but for generations to come.

Through fundraising and hands-on volunteer work, they step in where help is needed – clearing, restoring, protecting, and nurturing this natural haven.

Sometimes it’s planting new life into the soil, cleaning and restoring areas that have been forgotten, and sometimes it’s simply showing up because nature needs people who care.

Numerous trails can be explored.

Friends of TC wish to do more to grow their impact, restore more areas of the reserve, create a space where the community can connect with nature and learn from it and protect it.

In order to do this, help is needed.

Other interested members of the community are invited to be part of this journey – whether through volunteering your time, supporting fundraising efforts or simply sharing TC’s story.

Every pair of hands helps, every contribution makes a difference and every person becomes part of something bigger.
