South Coast temples host Hanuman Chalisa recital

This event promises to fill one's heart with peace.

Hibiscus Coast Navaratri Committee together with the Shree Raam Narayan Temple Society will host an Akhand Hanuman Chalisa at the Shree Raam Narayan Temple on Dairy Road, Marburg, this Saturday (11th), from 05:00.

The Hanuman Chalisa, an ancient masterpiece, isn’t just a devotional hymn – it astonishingly mentions the distance from earth to the sun, calculated without any scientific equipment.

The day kicks off with hawan at 05:00 followed by 12 hours of non-stop recitals by 11 Durban groups and local talents.

This event promises to tune your mind, banish fears, and fill your heart with peace.

Meals and prasad will be offered throughout the day. All are welcome.
