Book donation boosts Genesis Hope

Creston College donated books to support community reading spaces.

Genesis Hope South Africa recently received a generous donation of books from learners and teachers at Creston College.

The donation included a wide variety of books suitable for different age groups.

The collection will be distributed across several Safe Place units run by Genesis Hope, where they will be made available to children, youth and community members.

The books will help create welcoming reading spaces and make literature more accessible to young people in the surrounding communities.

Many of the Safe Place centres serve as supportive environments where children can spend time after school, take part in activities and access educational resources.

The addition of these books is expected to encourage reading and learning among visitors of all ages.

Genesis Hope expressed appreciation to the Creston College community for the generosity and support, noting that partnerships like this play an important role in strengthening opportunities for education and personal development within the community.
