Coastal charm awaits at Shangrila market in Bazley
Proceeds go to Pevensey Place and the Bazley Conservancy.
The Mother’s Day Market at Shangrila at 56 & 58 Lagoon Drive, Bazley takes place on Sunday, May 10, from 09:30 to 14:00.
Visitors can enjoy live music, a variety of local food and craft stalls, as well as a gin and craft beer garden.
Picnic hampers will also be available to enjoy in the gardens or by the beach.
At its heart, the market is a showcase of homegrown talent.
Expect tables filled with homemade bakes, traditional coffee and cake treats, and an array of handcrafted goods. From woodwork to preserves, each item tells a story of skill and passion, offering shoppers something far more meaningful than mass-produced finds.
If you are into indigenous gardening – the spectacular garden is exquisitely landscaped by Elsa Pooley. It features flower beds, a rock garden, wetland, grasslands and established coastal trees. The estate is teeming with wildlife, birds, and butterflies.
Proceeds go to Pevensey Place and the Bazley Conservancy.
