Did you know that the Pennington Conservancy turns 40 this year? For just R200 annually, you can join to keep Pennington green and gorgeous.

Enquire @ The Beach Café at Impithi or on the website. It has been four decades of protecting and preserving the unique flora and fauna that makes our village so special. Get involved in the conservation projects that our passionate volunteers undertake to keep our little slice of paradise flourishing!

Another Tidy Towns Pennington/Sani2c fundraising ‘drive’ has been done and dusted. We thank more than 20 drivers who volunteered to give up a day (or in some cases two days) to drive the cyclists’ Sani2C vehicles from Underberg to Scottburgh.
All cars and drivers returned safe and sound. We are grateful to the organisers and our volunteers for the opportunity to raise some funds for Tidy Towns Pennington, an NPO. And, once again, thanks to Martin Hanlon of Tidy Towns for ‘driving’ the project.

Charmaine Liddiard is the safeguarding officer at Scottburgh Hockey Club. She plays a vital role in ensuring the club remains a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all players.

She has completed the sports safeguarding course and the designated safeguarding officer course through The Guardian and The South African Hockey Association.

Charmaine is well equipped to help guide best practices within the club and to be a trusted point of contact for any safeguarding concerns. The club is grateful to have her on the team.
She is a community-oriented professional and family-focused individual who values fair play and integrity. As a mother and wife, she embraces a family-first ethos, which shapes her empathetic and inclusive approach to safeguarding.
