Collision in Hibberdene leaves one person dead

A culpable homicide case has been opened at Saps Hibberdene after a fatal accident on the R102 in Hibberdene early on May 26.

Saps Ugu District Communications said it is alleged that two vehicles, a white tipper truck and a grey SUV were involved in a serious collision.

“A fifty-year-old man had to be extricated from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. He is yet to be officially identified,” said police.

Investigations are continuing.
