Run4Ramsgate returns for another family fun day

All proceeds will go towards maintaining the Ramsgate Ramble, public spaces and the village environment.

The popular Run4Ramsgate Family Fun Run is back for a second year, inviting residents and visitors of all ages and fitness levels to take part on Saturday, July 11.

Hosted by the Ramsgate Ratepayers’ and Residents’ Association (RRRA), the relaxed 5km community event will take participants along the scenic Ramsgate Ramble, starting and finishing at the Ramsgate Tidal Pool.

The halfway mark will be at Big Tree Beach. The event starts at 09:30, with registration opening from 08:30 on the day.

Organisers say runners, walkers and families are all encouraged to join in, whether aiming for a personal best or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll with friends and family.

The fun run closes at 11:30 sharp, followed by prize giving and the announcement of a raffle winner. Food and drinks will be on sale, while Ramsgate T-shirts and peak caps will also be available to purchase.

Friendly dogs on leads are welcome, with owners asked to bring poop bags for cleaning up.

Spectators may attend free of charge, with donations welcome. All proceeds will go towards helping the RRRA maintain the Ramsgate Ramble, public spaces and the village environment.
