Child (5) in critical condition after hotel pool near drowning

She got into difficulty in a hotel pool in Scottburgh.

A five-year-old girl is currently in critical condition after a near drowning incident in Scottburgh.

According to IPSS Medical Rescue, the child got into difficulty whilst swimming in a hotel pool.

It was also mentioned that on-site clinic staff performed CPR and managed to successfully resuscitate the child.

She was stabilised on scene and transported to a nearby hospital under the care of an IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support paramedic.
