Mega slide mania fundraiser promises family fun

It will be a full day of outdoor entertainment for children and families at Port Shepstone Country Club.

Families looking for a fun-filled outing can enjoy a day of giant inflatables while helping to keep the South Coast beautiful at Mega Slide Mania 2026 on July 18.

The fundraiser, in aid of Tidy Towns Sea Park to Banana Beach, takes place at the Port Shepstone Country Club from 10:00 to 16:00, with a full day of outdoor entertainment planned for children and families.

Young thrill-seekers can enjoy unlimited rides on 12 giant inflatable slides, including two wet slides, while smaller children can have fun on the jumping castle. There will also be opportunities to meet and take photos with colourful characters, including Coco the Upside Down Clown, Sparkle the Unicorn and Roary the Dinosaur.

Visitors can also enjoy a selection of boerewors rolls, chips, snacks and cold drinks available throughout the day.

Entry is R150 per person, which includes unlimited access to all the slides. Children aged two years and younger enjoy free access to the jumping castle.

By attending the event, families will not only enjoy a memorable day out, but will also be supporting the ongoing environmental work of Tidy Towns Sea Park to Banana Beach, which is dedicated to keeping the coastline clean, green and welcoming for everyone.
