Have you seen Gerard Roets? Search underway after Sunwich Port man goes missing

Anyone with information is urged to come forward as soon as possible.

Saps Search and Rescue team is searching for 34-year-old Gerard Roets of Sunwich Port, who has been missing since last Thursday.

A missing person enquiry has been opened at Saps Southport after Gerard left his home and failed to return.

He was last seen wearing a brown jacket and a Springbok T-shirt.

According to his family, Gerard is living with mental health challenges, and they are increasingly concerned about his safety.

He has been living in Sunwich Port for the last three to four years and is well known to the community.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen Gerard or who has information that could assist in locating him to contact the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Lynette Ngobese, on 039 681 2366 or 082 548 7576.
