Fun bowls fundraiser to benefit Ivungu River Conservancy

Players can look forward to friendly competition, burgers, a cash bar, spot prizes, an auction and live entertainment by The Sound Dogs.

The Ivungu River Conservancy is inviting the community to enjoy an afternoon of fun while supporting local conservation efforts at a Fun Bowls Fundraiser on Saturday, August 15.

The event takes place at the Uvongo Bowling Club from 15:00 and welcomes bowlers of all ages and skill levels, including complete beginners.

Players can look forward to friendly competition, burgers, a cash bar, spot prizes, an auction and live entertainment.

Entry costs R120 per person, with all proceeds supporting the conservancy’s ongoing environmental projects.

Organisers encourage residents to gather a team of friends or come on their own, with teams able to be arranged on the day.
