Mandela Day celebrations were held throughout the country last week.

Getting in on the action was the management and staff of AA Spice, in collaboration with Umkomaas Saps members and K9.

A deep clean was done at the station, as well as repairs, sanitising of the ablution facilities, pruning the foliage, cleaning of windows, managing the flower gardens, optimal utilisation of the high pressure hose to remove moss and more.

The team included over 50 dedicated people. They brought with them detergents, a generator, buckets and even garden tools to ensure that the station was left in a super clean and neat condition.

Saps management praised the team for their efforts and are grateful for this initiative.
