Matrics set to shine for safety at fashion show in Uvongo

The Uvongo Community Police Forum (CPF) will host a fundraising event for its safety and security initiatives at Dougie’s Sports Bar and Restaurant on August 9.

The afternoon will begin at 13:00 with a fashion show, featuring giveaways, while children can enjoy a jumping castle and play area.

Food will be available from the bar and restaurant.

A matric showcase starts at 14:00 in the lounge, where learners will walk the catwalk to show off their ball gowns and suits.

Cash prizes of R1000, R600 and R400 will be awarded to the top three entrants.

Entry is free, but entrants must complete an entry form to participate.
