Join International Coastal Cleanup Day at Silver Beach
Come show up and make a difference. Refuse bags and gloves will be provided.
Umtamvuna Marine Conservancy will host a beach clean-up at Silver Beach (Main Beach) on September 19 as part of International Coastal Cleanup Day.
Volunteers are invited to join the initiative, which takes place from 10:00 to 11:00, to help remove litter and plastic pollution from the coastline.
Beachgoers are asked to bring enthusiasm, a water bottle and weather-appropriate clothing. Refuse bags and gloves will be provided.
The conservancy’s message is simple: no single action will solve plastic pollution, but together we can make a difference.
