The Bendigo Community Food Drive is bringing everyone together to provide a special Christmas celebration for children from financially stressed homes.

The initiative, which started in 2021, will include a Christmas party for 100 children aged between two and 17-years-old.

Parents and caregivers are invited to contact the organisers if their children need particular items for school next year.

These will then be sourced, where possible, and given as Christmas gifts.

The organisers stressed that this is a community project and welcome anyone who would like to get involved to help make Christmas special for local children.
