Donate knitted blocks to Creston to make blankets

The grade Rs wrapped up their theme all about winter by celebrating with a fun winter day.

In the spirit of Mandela Month, the Pre-Primary at Creston College is requesting knitted or crocheted 20x20cm blocks using any colour yarn of your choice.

Completed blocks can be dropped off at the reception by June 30 and will be stitched together to make blankets to donate to a local hospital/organisation in need.

The Grade Rs wrapped up their theme all about winter by celebrating with a fun winter day. The learners came to school bundled up in jerseys, beanies, scarves, and gloves. They then enjoyed some hot chocolate and delicious s’mores. The group five children had a wonderful morning adventuring around Fiddlewood Farm.

The Grade 1 boys enjoyed playing soccer at home against other schools last week and had lots of fun, and the Grade 3 learners were introduced to digital time in Math.
