Creston honours award recipients

Various activities were happening at the school recently.

Creston’s Senior Primary Honours and Awards ceremony took place last Thursday.

Heartfelt congratulations to all the award recipients. A special acknowledgment goes to those who achieved a top 10 ranking in each grade. Notable achievements include KZN dance colours being presented to Kate Chivers (modern and hip hop) and Cecilia Rautenbach (modern). Additionally, the school commend Jessica and Andrew Stott for their representation in the Midlands Stallions at the PSI Nationals.

The Grade R children explored space, uncovering facts about the sun, earth, and the moon. Creative projects included crafting a sun with red and yellow paint, an earth with shaving cream and glue, and a moon with red beans and tin foil.

Cricket successes were highlighted with the U11A team winning decisively and the Grade 3s have started playing hardball cricket.

Meanwhile the Grade 7s enjoyed their farewell event. The Interact Committee donated shoes collected on Nelson Mandela Day, and gratitude was extended to blood donors for their life-saving contributions.
