PE Primary selects house leaders

The new house captains for Marlin and Dolphin are congratulated.

In preparation for the upcoming inter-house gala, Port Edward Primary‘s Grade 7 learners from Dolphin and Marlin house teams have been selected by their peers to stand as vice-captains and captains for the year.
Congratulations to these learners.

The cricket players have had a busy week once again, with mid-week matches played against Creston College. Special mention must be made of the U13 A team, which kept the spectators on the edge of their seats in a nail-biting finish, winning in the end by two wickets.

Creston also played host to the inter-schools gala last Thursday. Congratulations to all the swimmers who participated and well done on your achievements. The school extends its thanks to Creston for hosting such an exciting week of sports.

The school held a special ‘Palentine’s Day’ last Wednesday. Learners came dressed in red, white and pink civvies and celebrated their friendships by exchanging roses, chocolates and balloons. Thank you to all those involved in co-ordinating the sales and distribution of these items.
