Top swimmers make Izotsha proud

The Grade Rs gala last Friday was a fun-filled morning with spirit and cheer.

Izotsha Primary‘s intermediate and senior phases have been writing assessments.

The foundation phase participated in an inter-school individual gala at Creston College last Thursday. The team placed first overall, and the age group winners were Caylen Preston (Grade 2 girls), Eve Steynberg (Grade 3 girls) and Tyden Nadauld (Grade 3 boys).

Izotsha won the trophy for the school with the most entrants at the recent Blue Ocean Aquatics Gala. The school’s swimmers also achieved a number of medals.

Izotsha’s U11A netball girls played two matches against Creston’s U11A team and one against their B team. Izotsha won all three of their matches convincingly.

Congratulations to Ella Leonard who participated in The Tinman Triathlon at the weekend which included a 200m ocean swim, a 5km bicycle ride and a 3km run.
