Port Shepstone Senior Primary‘s U12 and U13 girls’ Ugu hockey trials took place at Creston College last Saturday.
The atmosphere was filled with nerves and anticipation as five learners took to the field to showcase their skills.
Among the participants were U12 players Zoë Stoffels, Sbani Cele and Nomzamo Ngcobo, and U13s Kayan Walters and Thandoluhle Ngcobo. After a tough day of trials, it was announced that Zoë Stoffels had been selected to progress to the next round and represent the Ugu hockey team.
