Marburg Primary elects learner leaders

SCH Local News | The new leaders are wished well.

Marburg Primary held its Student Representative and Leader Induction ceremony last Friday.

It was heartening to note that many parents were present at this ceremony. Dr Balenthran Gounden, the principal, highlighted the importance of student reps and leaders in the school and encouraged learners to aspire towards becoming better learners.

The chairperson of the SGB, Adriaan Daniel, also motivated all learners to work harder and become more active in the activities offered at the school.

All learners were inducted with special ties. The highlight of the ceremony was the announcement of the student leaders for 2024: Kimisha Reddy, Abongile Ngwekazi, Siphesihle Mtshali, Sethu Simelane, Immaculate Yalo, Tinotenda Gatsi, Minenhle Lubanyana and Andiswa Cebisa.
