Young cricketer shines at Izotsha Primary

The U13 cricket boys played against Margate, Izotsha batted first, scoring 99 for 6.

The inclement weather affected sports matches at Izotsha Primary during the week.

However, the U13 cricket boys played against Margate. Izotsha batted first, scoring 99 for 6.

Brad Apostolides was the best batsman, scoring 21 runs. Margate were all out for 34 runs. In 3 overs, Elijah Langton took 6 wickets for 7 runs, earning him not only the best bowler but also man of the match.

It was a celebratory day last Friday for those learners who received merit badges; as part of their reward, they were able to wear civvies to school.

The parents hosted a most successful golf day fundraiser at the Port Shepstone Country Club last Saturday. Thankfully, the rain held off, and much fun was had by all who attended.
