Creston celebrated the remarkable achievements of its Grade 12 learners at this year’s prize-giving ceremony.

It was a memorable event, highlighting both academic and extracurricular successes.

Honours were awarded to learners with exceptional academic performance: Mithav Lachman, Aarav Maharaj, Kayla Niemandt, Theshlin Chetty, Troy Christophers, Michael Potgieter, Mihita Lalla and Jodi Green.

Special recognition went to those excelling in sports and the arts, with full colours in dancing awarded to Storm Cawood, Madison Sayers and Amy Engelbrecht.

Several learners also shone in specific disciplines, such as Melissa Bense and Michael Potgieter, who were named athletes of the year.

In the cultural sphere, Kayla Niemandt received accolades for creative writing and performing arts, while Jodi Green was recognised as the top art student.

The prestigious Dux Award was presented to Mithav Lachman, with Aarav Maharaj as the runner-up for most consistent academic performance.
