Creston fosters love for reading
Learners excitedly dressed up as their favourite book characters.
Creston College’s junior primary book day recently ignited joy as learners enjoyed the magic of reading.
Parents generously donated both new and gently used books to the JP library, creating a lasting impact by promoting a love of reading.
Each donated book will include a special note with the donor’s name, grade and date, serving as a reminder of the support made.
Learners excitedly dressed up as their favourite book characters, bringing beloved stories to life and celebrating the adventure and wonder of books.
In other school news, Creston staff attended the 2024 Legends Dinner to honour South Africa’s sports and rugby legends.
This special gathering, spearheaded by Herman Flemming as a fundraising initiative, offered attendees the chance to engage with iconic figures. Executive head Noel Coetzee proudly joined the legends for a commemorative photo.
