Southcity College is thrilled to announce that its class of 2024 has once again demonstrated outstanding academic excellence with a remarkable 100% pass rate!
All 39 matriculants have successfully met the entry requirements for tertiary education, with 36 learners achieving Bachelor passes and three earning Diploma passes.
This exceptional achievement reaffirms Southcity’s status as one of the top academic institutions on the South Coast. A remarkable 42% of the school’s subject results were awarded either an A or B symbol, and 70% of all results were above 60%.
These outstanding outcomes reflect the hard work, dedication and commitment of both learners and teachers.
The top achievers are Tegest Fantaye, Luphawu Pakade, Ntandokazi Sitole, Kelsey Pretorius and Abigail Redelinghuys.
The principal, Wendy Lourens, extends her congratulations to the class of 2024. She acknowledges the incredible efforts of the dedicated teaching staff, the invaluable support of parents and the unwavering commitment of learners.
The contributions of the entire school staff have been instrumental in creating a nurturing environment that fosters both personal and academic growth.
