Creston College excursion explores biodiversity and conservation

The experience brought learners' studies to life and deepened their understanding of environmental responsibility.

Creston College learners have been learning beyond the classroom, with a recent highlight being a Life Sciences excursion to Weenen Game Reserve

Grade 10 and 11 learners explored biodiversity and conservation through guided game drives, seeing species such as zebra, giraffe and rhino in their natural habitat. The experience brought their studies to life and deepened their understanding of environmental responsibility.

Younger learners also enjoyed experiences, including an interactive creepy crawlies session by Educate and Fascinate where they observed live insects and learned more about the role these creatures play in the ecosystem.

Across the school, learners continue to take part in a variety of academic, cultural and sporting activities, encouraging participation and steady progress.

Creston College remains committed to providing practical, engaging learning opportunities that support both personal growth and a broader understanding of the world.
