DEAR Editor,-
Our areas are being swamped with abortion posters from Port Shepstone to Margate, popping up in areas not previously affected. They automatically lower the tone of our beautiful towns that we try to keep appealing to visitors, investors and shoppers. Sadly it seems the municipalities are not going to take any action to remove these posters, so the onus falls on residents, shopkeepers and business owners. They are easily removed with some water and a scraper.
I challenge all businesses and residents to take pride in our areas. By removing these unsightly, illegal posters as quickly as they appear, our towns will look appealing to visitors and shoppers, and our children will not have to ask what an abortion or a body part enlargement is, every time you stop at a traffic light!
Remember that if our area looks like a slum then it attracts slum mentality, so it’s up to us to keep it looking good.
