Could the authorities please do something about the many people who use the Uvongo beach facilities as their private bathroom, early every morning. We have complained about this before but nothing is ever done about the problem.
It is making an early morning visit to the beach very unpleasant for locals and visitors. We find it most disconcerting to see naked people happily going about their ablutions, using the shower next to the tidal pool or the one next to the children’s paddling pool. We have often seen people doing their laundry, washing their shoes and even cleaning their teeth in the children’s paddling pool as well. This must present a health hazard.
Generally, there seem to be many vagrants hanging about when you visit Uvongo beach early in the morning. Perhaps the relevant authorities could check on the situation?
