‘Bikers need to earn respect’

How mindless of you to pass a vehicle on the left-hand side of the highway when merging.

DEAR Editor,-

Once again I am amazed by a  thoughtless idiot who used the Seaslopes Road on-ramp at Seaslopes toward Shelly Beach last Friday afternoon at 1.20pm on a motorcycle with a young female passenger on the back, clinging for dear life (black helmet and red Mohawk).

How mindless of you to pass a vehicle on the left-hand side of the highway when merging. You thought you were clever with no number plate, while you drove like a bat out of hell. You and the likes of you will never learn. Has it ever crossed your mind that if I did not swerve, your passenger would launch like a rocket on impact.

The cherry on the cake was actually seeing you at Suid-Natal Primary with a very ‘windgat’ attitude. Now we know who you are and shall get a roadside cross ready for you soon.

Bikers want respect … please earn it. Your behaviour puts all bikers in a bad light. With stickers everywhere reminding people to ‘think bike’, please add ‘because they don’t have brains to think for themselves’

JUST THINK
