DEAR Editor,-
Since 2003 it has been an ongoing issue to get Winston Ave in Margate Ext 7 upgraded. Letters, faxes, phone calls, media involvement, etc, had no effect, but when Jean Schmidt (DA councillor, ward 6), came on board and walked the path with us, we could eventually celebrate. Winston Ave is going to be upgraded!
Thank you, Jean, for all the effort put into get this project going. You kept your promise and made it happen. This is once again proof that the DA do what they say and that they are committed to serving the community.
