An article regarding an uncovered manhole outside Silverton Radiators in Marburg that appeared in the Herald during June refers. That article reported on the fact that this hole has been there for years. Silverton Radiators have since had another two vehicles going into the manhole, one of which was brand new.
The company has now taken it upon themselves to fill this hole, which is actually the water meter manhole. The problem is that now that the meter is covered, how does it get read monthly?
In desperation I had some laminated signs made because, as can be seen in the photo, there were never any danger signs or tape to alert people of the danger.
