LOCALS joined in a walk up Sani Pass in aid of Choc, the Childhood Cancer Foundation, organised annually to raise funds.
The walk is 9km up to the Lesotho border post at 2 865m and back down, which is optional.

So proud of local women Les Barker, Anne Ellis, Sue McAlpine and Ronnie Ridderhof, who enjoyed a hot chocolate drink at the top before walking back down to the South African border post.

Clansthal Conservancy will hold their Spring Market on Sunday, September 1, from 9am to 2pm at 111 Pig and Whistle Drive, Clansthal.
The market is held in a private garden with resident dogs, so please don’t bring your own dogs. To trade, contact: liz@scottburgh.co.za.
I was under the impression that it would be completed by July, but not sure which year?
In Alkins Drive, Park Rynie, there is an unfenced, ungated property from which three dogs (two are puppies) roam onto the R102.
There is nothing worse than running over an animal with a vehicle – no matter how tough the driver claims to be.
Grateful thanks to Chantal and Louis van Wyk for lying with me in the grass to try and get the dogs to come to us so that we could prevent them from running into traffic.
