OPINION: ‘Words seem so inadequate’

My sincere gratitude goes to Andrew Strike and his staff for sponsoring my new running shoes.

DEAR Editor,-

I grew up in North-West Province in a town called Lichtenburg and eventually had an opportunity to move to the South Coast.

I started training in earnest for the Comrades Marathon and ran the first one in 2008.

In 2018, I was awarded a green number signifying that I had completed ten full marathons.

I also ran the Mandela Marathon in Howick more than ten times.

My sincere gratitude goes to Andrew Strike and his staff for sponsoring my new running shoes.

I wish him and all his staff members at Hopdens KwikSpar in Manaba the very best in future.
