DEAR Editor,-
It has now been nearly three months that filthy, disgusting sewage flows down the side of Nelson Drive, the main entrance and egress to Trafalgar for vehicles and pedestrians.
This is a major health hazard for all who live nearby, drive past and particularly for employees who have to walk past this horrible mess every day to get to the main road.

All previous complaints receive an answer that the matter is being attended to, but nothing happens.
After approximately three months of no response or activity, the matter was brought to the attention of the municipal manager’s office and the response received was a copy of the forwarded complaint with one line ‘Mewa please assist’.
Raw sewage leaking down the road is a serious issue, as is the complaint.

Surely the health of those people live in or visit the area and those who have to walk past the horrible mess daily should concern senior management at Ugu District Municipality.
FRED RINDEL
