DEAR Editor:
At last we are at the end of Shoe Box Campaign 2019 and are over the moon with the response we had from our community.
We also had a call from the manager from Ackermans, Umzinto, with a big donation of clothing for Joanne’s Angel’s last week.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We were also given a donation of cool drinks from Kingsley’s towards parties that we will be hosting for Alexandra Park Scottburgh Old Age Home and Amcup Rehab and families and children on our feeding scheme.
So many people have also donated to us in the last two weeks and unfortunately I cannot thank each one personally – the list is just too long.
Please forgive me for that, but we will rectify that in the new year.
We also had lots of visitors over the last two weeks – to actually see what we do in the community and it was an eye-opener for them.
After 10 years of community service, many people still ask what we do.
Joanne’s Angels are primarily a feeding scheme, but we help people with drug addictions get to the right place for help, we work with abused children in the community and help people get back on their feet again.
During the 10 years of running Joanne’s Angels, we have seen many heartaches and sorrow, but there is always a rainbow at the end of the tunnel.
And once again, I cannot stress this enough, we cannot do this work without God’s guidance and community support.
