Recently I went into a local shop to buy biltong for my nephew in Port Alfred who we would be visiting a few days later.
I passed this information on, chose two flavours and received a pack of each.

In addition, there were two empty brown paper bags and two blue bows.
“And these?” I asked. “The packet will absorb oil during the delay,” came the reply “So, when you get to Port Alfred, transfer the biltong into the fresh packets and attach the bows. Keep the biltong in the fridge. You have a safe trip!”
Customer service probably doesn’t come any more brilliant than this.
