With regards your ‘cruciverbalist’ column last week, may I relate to you events from earlier this year.
In January I won a prize for the completion of the cryptic crossword, but the cheque never arrived. Some months later I won again and this time the delightful little envelope did arrive and contained the latest cheque and the January cheque with a note saying ‘the January cheque was returned by the post office – box closed’.
Oops, I must have written my old 1063 box number not my 1000 Uvongo number. Someone in your office was diligent enough to trace it to me, save it and include it in the May envelope. Kudos to this person.
