How often do we fall short of His glory? Perhaps it’s because you and I fail to see the singularity of serving both the King of the Universe and the citizens of our community.
In growing the community, make sure you’re actually farming the land of the Owner, and not just the sharecrop you claim. Both seeds and water need to be blessed by God.
Work the soil with faith and irrigate hope with nothing but pure and unconditional love for God. Only then will the blossoming of His fruit and vegetation become a healthy harvest for those we serve.
Only then will you see the singularity of serving God and community. Today at work, God wants to use you in mighty ways. He wants to do so until you retire or until He calls you home.
Your job is to grow in His knowledge and wisdom in order to meet the challenges you face and to bless those you serve. So today, go work in His garden!
See the singularity of serving both King and citizens. Surely, His glory will shine and your community’s harvest will be bountiful!

Prayer Father, make me a good farmer today. Bless Your field in which I work. Give me strength and wisdom not to deny You anything – including my loyalty and dedication to the commands of Your Word.
