DEAR Editor:
In a world that has somewhat turned cold, my family and I have recently been blessed by some good-hearted people.
This comes after a recent attack on myself and my teenage granddaughter in our beautiful little home in Sea Park.

The incident was reported on the front page of the South Coast Herald, edition November 20.
Since then, family and friends, from far and wide, have pulled together to make our residence a safer place.
My heart is overflowing with gratefulness.
It’s not often people simply pull together to help without expecting anything in return.

I’d like to thank my family – the Vermeulens, De Bruins, Viljoens and Knoxes – along with Martin Harman and JJ Denton.
Furthermore, thank you to Trellidor for sponsoring a security gate for our passageway.
May this article give you hope in your heart that there truly are people who cares.
