DEAR Editor;
I was recently at a store, where I wanted to buy some small items.
Since I am 87 years old and vulnerable I asked the manager to put on his mask.
He said it was on. I said it needed to be worn over the nose. He did not respond.
When I went to pay for the items I had bought, in order to keep social distance from him as he was occupying the whole till space, I spilt the small things I had bought onto the till counter.
He suddenly lost his temper, refused to let the teller ring up the purchase, and ordered me out of the shop, shouting “This is my shop, I do as I like.”
I find this unacceptable and believe this man needs to consider others and obey the law.
