OPINION: ‘Hospital staff made all the difference’

I was recently admitted to Hibiscus Hospital, surgical department, in Port Shepstone.

DEAR Editor;

Being in hospital can be a very difficult and stressful time.

It brings about anxiety and uncertainty, more so now during Covid-19 when visiting hours are restricted.

I was recently admitted to Hibiscus Hospital, surgical department, in Port Shepstone.

I would like to salute and thank the staff for their care, compassion, love and treatment I received.

My four day stay was beyond comfortable and I want to thank you for all doing an amazing job.

There was nothing lacking in my care and I was discharged home safely to my family.

Thank you also to specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr BG Perumal who stood by my side through my ordeal.
