And all this on a Sunday, many thanks, it is really appreciated.
Pennington Community Watch has a vacancy in the response group that needs to be filled.
The person must be willing to respond to any call from the community at any hour of the day.
Being fit and able is a pre-requisite, previous Saps or army experience would be helpful.
There is no remuneration for this position except the satisfaction of helping and keeping our community safe.

I hope it is a very happy green day all round for those who celebrate St Patrick’s Day today (17th).
Years ago, when I was part of the group, Six Plus One, we would perform at the Irish Hooley which was held in the Scottburgh Town Hall.
I recall one year, our attempt to perform ‘Lord of the Dance’.
It was the opening number and oh, how we made such a mess of it – so much so that we asked the audience if we could do it again!
Of course, they all had such a good chuckle and allowed us to do it again. It was so much better.
The golfing community is invited to go and enjoy a great game of golf on St Patrick’s Day at the Scottburgh Golf Club.
Enjoy some delicious food at the clubhouse restaurant.
